This year has had more highs and lows, twists and turns, than a white knuckle roller coaster ride. Come to think of it, twenty fifteen and twenty sixteen were not much better. Sometimes, I wonder how I’m still standing with the amount of stuff that has happened in two short years. What I do know is that I am no longer the person I was before.
The other thing I know is that when the world around you is disintegrating, following your own calm, dedicated, spiritual, fulfilling path is hard. Remembering that everyone has their own story, their own highs and lows, difficulties and struggles is important, as is having the ability to view life objectively.
So for now, as we enter 2018 and what astrologers predict as being a newly stable period, my mission is to focus on the high points, seek out the good and the positive nestling in beside the rubble, try not to sweat the small stuff, give more love, be kinder to myself and to others, be realistic and open minded and live a simpler, less complicated life.
So here are some of the high points from 2017…there were plenty….love, friendship, exploration, art, music, speaking out, family, travel and laughter
